Orchestration

Configuration-Driven Business Process Orchestration — Design Once, Execute Anywhere

Order management and business-process orchestration in three integrated layers: guided multi-step interaction wizards for data capture, a flow-based order engine with retry and saga rollback, and Order 360 for real-time execution visibility — all defined in configuration.

Orchestrate any fulfilment, on any channel.

Why FlowForge

Three things that set it apart

THREE-LAYER ARCHITECTURE

Wizard → Engine → 360 in one platform

Interaction Framework captures data through guided wizards. The Order Engine executes backend flows with conditional logic, retry and compensation. Order 360 gives complete visibility into every execution. All three share the same config language.

SAGA COMPENSATION

Automatic rollback on failure

Every flow step has a compensation variant. If step 4 fails after steps 1–3 succeeded, FlowForge unwinds them in reverse order — automatically, without custom error-handling code.

ADAPTER-FIRST INTEGRATION

Connect any system in minutes

5 authentication types, request/response mapping with template interpolation, health monitoring and a 24-hour API audit log. Wire new external systems through adapters — no code, no deployment.

Capabilities

What FlowForge does

9 interaction step types

Entity search/create/edit, SSO setup, product selection, document upload, generic forms, payment, review, thank-you and role assignment — all configured, never coded.

Flow-based order engine

Sequential and conditional step execution, nested child flows, template variable interpolation and connection pooling for performance.

Retry & saga compensation

Exponential or fixed backoff per step, configurable retry conditions and automatic compensation variants that unwind completed steps on downstream failure.

TMF flow types (COM / SOM / ROM)

Customer Order, Service Order and Resource Order flows across party, billing, service and resource entity levels — aligned to TM Forum APIs.

Adapter framework

5 auth types (Basic, Bearer, OAuth2, API Key, mTLS), request/response mapping, per-adapter health checks and a 24-hour full request/response audit log with TTL.

Order 360 visibility

Real-time execution timeline, step-level status, input/output payload inspection and error details for every order across every flow in one screen.

Draft save & resume

Interaction wizards save progress at every step. Users resume exactly where they left off — draft preserved across sessions and browser refreshes.

Context auto-population

Wizards pre-fill from Party 360, Billing 360, Product 360 and Interaction 360 contexts — agents see pre-loaded data, not blank forms.

JSD client-side validation

JSON Schema Definition per wizard step for instant client-side validation. Server-side validation for duplicate detection, username availability and business rules.

Conditional step visibility

Show or hide wizard steps based on collected data, party attributes or product selection — one wizard definition handles multiple flow variants.

In practice

How buyers use it

MVNO — customer onboarding

A 6-step wizard captures party details, selects plan, uploads ID and selfie, then submits. The Order Engine provisions SIM, assigns MSISDN and activates the service in three downstream systems — with saga rollback if any step fails.

End-to-end onboarding in under 5 minutes. Agent sees the complete Order 360 timeline. If activation fails, SIM and number are automatically released.

Bank — loan origination

An 8-step interaction captures applicant data, runs KYC document verification, submits to a credit-scoring adapter and conditionally branches to approval or review flows based on the returned score.

Credit decision in minutes. Full audit trail of every adapter call, every document verified and every branch taken — exportable for regulatory review.

Telecom — number porting

A porting flow calls three external systems in sequence (donor network, regulator API, internal provisioning). Each step has a retry policy and compensation. If provisioning fails after the regulator step, the regulator reservation is automatically cancelled.

Zero manual cleanup on failure. Operations team sees the exact step that failed and why — no log trawling.

Head to head

FlowForge vs the legacy approach

Capability Legacy approach FlowForge
New process definition Developer + release cycle Business analyst + config, instant deploy
Failure handling Custom compensation code per flow Saga compensation built into every step
External system integration Bespoke adapter per system Config-driven adapter, 5 auth types
Execution visibility Log trawling Order 360 — step-level timeline and payloads
TMF alignment Custom mappings required COM / SOM / ROM flow types native
Wizard data capture Custom UI per process 9 step types, configured not coded
